A company was confronting a big problem in the selling of new books sales. Thus, some of the exclusive members hold a meeting.
The meeting was lead by Ms. Nur Syaidatul Amirah as chairperson who was discussing about how to increase the selling of books.
Ms. Izatul Imrah as a new sales manager gave a response about the selling of books that made financial of company quite slow lately. She assumed that it was caused there was a new competitor nearby of their bookstore. Then, she gave a suggestion to do some promotion by offering free gift for the buying of two books, such as gave a customers a bag or other stationery freely and advertising on the website.
Ms. Ain Nur Adilah from Administration Department disagreed about do some advertisement because, it wasted the funds and resource to get a great advertising. Then, she gave other suggestion to do a lucky draw for any customer who buy the books RM50 and above. Furthermore, offering the best prizes to those who will win, that's idea will make the customers excited with mysterious prizes. And then, Ms. Nur Syaidatul as a chairperson was interested by the idea a lucky draw.
On the other hand, Ms. Izatul still prefer to do the advertisement on their own website and to make possible attracted the foreigners from other country.
However, Ms. Ain Nur Adilah gave other agrument that advertising use more expense and too expensive. Moreover, the foreigners will spent more expense to come to their country and buy the books from their bookstore. Hence, she suggested to only focus on people nearby first.
Ms. Haida from Marketing Department gave her opinion about both the suggestion. She agreed with Ms. Izatul to do advertisement by use media such as, televisions, radios, magazines and newspaper to promote. Furthermore, she recommended to made their website and receive order by online.
Ms. Izatul Imrah agreed about the selling book online because, it can cut cost and the expense to buy directly.
Nevertheless, Ms. Ain Nur Adilah remembered that the postage and different currency make the big cost for send books.
On the other hand, Ms. Fatin gave another suggestion to do some exhibition to expose the books like open the booth at schools, universities, offices and so on. Ms. fatin thought that is better if the exhibition can be combined with lucky draw.
Meanwhile, the leader of the meeting Ms. Nur Syaidatul Amirah likes all suggestion from participants of the meeting and wants to make it step by step. First, make lucky draw and exhibition next, followed by advertisement because the the income from the lucky draw can be used to make an advertisement.
Finally, every participant at the meeting agreed with the chairperson decision and end up that meeting.
